I’m very disappointed to learn of another magazine altering and removing natural hairstyles and textures on their cover from what was presented to them on the shoot date. The blatant slap in the face to say, “you and your hairstyles does not fit our ideal standard of beauty.” i want to dedicate my #TBT to honor the amazing teams at @Teen Vogue and @ELLE Magazine who I have been lucky enough to celebrate beautiful natural hairstyles and textures with on their covers . Thank you for understanding that representation matters . Little girls and boys need to grow up seeing people that look like them represented on all fronts . Thank you for not touching our hair ! #dtmh
