Explore how the computer—as machine, medium, and method—has been used to redefine the limits of art in #ThinkingMachines, now open to the public through April 8. This exhibition features the pioneering developments of artists, designers, and architects who engaged with computational thinking. Notable examples of computer and component design are also on view including the “CM-2 Supercomputer” (pictured). Initially produced in 1987 for large-scale commercial applications, the CM-2 was powered by up to 512MB of RAM, and a hard disk that stored up to 25GB. Learn more at mo.ma/machines
