I wanted to share my technique for doing a balayage on dark hair. My client has super straight and sleek hair that doesn’t tease very well. So in order to tease before I painted her foiliage pieces, I used a fine tool comb and I used a clip to secure the teased section so it wouldn’t fall into my painting section. I learned this from someone on Instagram, but I don’t quite remember who. I love how much education is shared on Instagram and how we can all grow just by connecting through this app. ✨
