My last takeover post - Shooting footage of stadiums from helicopters is really interesting. You can either use small handheld mounts, or larger underslung ones.
Shooting using something like a shot over mount is amazing, it smoothes out all the vibrations from the helicopter.
I always think it’s a strange experience looking at the real-time footage in the monitor, it looks amazing, whilst at the same time you are being buffeted about in a noisy and often uncomfortable AS355 helicopter.
