Home for the Holidays Day 7 we celebrate the dazzling singer, songwriter, producer, actress, & activist, @iamviviangreen! Born in Philadelphia, Viv was still in her teens when she had her first songwriting credit on a major release with “Dear God” for Boyz II Men, and landed her solo major label deal with Columbia Records. With hits like, “Emotional Roller Coaster” to “Gotta Go Gotta Leave” to “I Like it” and to her new single, “I Don’t Know,” off her just-released CD VCVI, Vivian’s career continues to soar. For all you Cyndi fans, Vivian also can be heard on The Body Acoustic, where she sang with Cyndi on the songs “I’ll Be Your River” & “Sisters of Avalon.” Vivian can be seen in the film De-Lovely singing a cover version of Porter's 1930 song "Love for Sale” and she played Brenda Holloway in NBC's drama series American Dreams. Vivian is currently starring in the play adaptation of the hit film "Two Can Play At That Game", also starting Vivica A.
