Today at Buckingham Palace, The Queen received & held an audience with Mrs Tiina Intelmann on her appointment as Ambassador from the Republic of Estonia.

Her Majesty also held an audience with the new Ambassador from the Swiss Confederation, Mr Alexandre Fasel.

Soon after arriving in London, a foreign Ambassador has an audience with The Queen. This is a formal ceremony in which a newly-appointed foreign Ambassador or High Commissioner presents his or her Letters of Credence or Letters of High Commission to The Queen. ?PA
