Today I bought my very own piano! Got it from a 93 year old woman called Mitzy who started getting lessons at 85 but had the piano in her family since the 50s. I love the history of instruments and I believe in recycling so it’s cool to own this piano from such an inspiring person who proves it’s always a good time to start something new! I believe the energy put into an instrument influences the creativity that comes out of it so i wanted to find a person and story that felt good. I always dreamed I would buy my own piano as soon as I moved into my own place but I guess I was waiting for the right Joanna. Finally have her, aunt Mitzy the piano. And me and @elhbass fucking moved it ourselves like badass bitches. It was extremely difficult and we have callouses and scrapes and it took sweat and initiative to get it inside with just the 2 of us. So we feel very excited and proud of ourselves.
