Casual in oldies but goodies ? with my vintage scarf ? I totally forgot to bring a thicker one. Oops ?
—— My mom left in the morning. As she was leaving the hotel room, she suddenly stopped and started crying. Like burst into tears really hard. I’ve never seen her like that. Even when I left from Japan 9 years ago, she only teared up a little bit at the airport. Last year, when we were departing from SF trip, she said “hope to see you again next year” with warm smiles. No tears.. But this time, I really felt her strong love from her crying. Tears were still rolling down her cheeks. She couldn’t move and still stood by the door holding her suitcase. So I woke up (I was in the bed at 6am ) and came to hug her and said “Thank you so much for everything, mom” ♥️ We both started crying really badly and hugged as tight as possible.. That was the highlight of my trip actually. It was very emotional yet touching...
I’ve chosen not to go back to Japan to pursue my dreams after college, and I knew it would make me really miss my home and family. Thats why I’m so grateful for my mom to fly all the way from Japan just to see me and I couldn’t be any more thankful and happier to get to see her, especially during this time of the year.. It was such an eventful and joyful 4 mother-and-daughter days/trip! I miss you already and love you mama endlessly ♥️?
