1. Mount Karakuni is the highest peak in the Kirishimayama mountain range. As autumn comes, the crater in the center of the mountain is filled with richly colored autumn leaves.
2. Mount Io overlooks a field of Japanese silver grass (‘susuki’) growing on the Ebino Plateau. The grass shines with a golden hue when illuminated by the setting sun.
