searching for life's answers in tidepools with my partner in crime ? excited to be at Kutztown tonight for a performance and book signing! I sadly had to cancel last spring due to food poisoning and am grateful for another opportunity to meet these students and be a part of their LGBTQ+ community for this evening! it was quite a long drive down from Boston but I spent it listening to amazing podcasts. Anybody have any recommendations for my long drive back tomorrow? would love to know what you are into!

i also want to acknowledge my silence in the past few weeks. I've been working toward something (besides the release of many of my songs for you and Kickstarter backers hehe) and have been thankful to have addressed my own internet addiction and this idea that the amount of likes i get on social media equates my worth. it doesn't. i have been struggling with depression and anxiety a lot over this past year and i recognize how internet space helps me heal. the internet and watching @uppercasechase and @reedleviw and @stef.sanjati and @therealalexbertie and @jakeftmagic and @neutralwolf and many many others on the web has always influenced me to be my best self. the winter is notoriously hard for me but i am going to continue to create content and be out and about :,) in the midst of it all and my choice to take a break, i'll remember the wise words of a close friend - it's okay to take time for yourself. you are the only person who can take that time ❤️

healing comes in many forms, some inward and some outward. i am thankful for those who have implored me to keep moving forward while healing. it is hard but we are all in this together ❤️
