1 hunnid! I was down for the count after spraining my back for about 7 weeks - thereafter, the last 8 weeks have been spent clawing my way back in to the game. 100kg/220lbs Clean & Jerk to finish up my training cycle for Americans. I haven't hit this since before I left for Asia for Uni Worlds (since i was DQ'd from C+J), & to say I'm happy is an understatement. I can't thank @burnscolin enough for getting me back to lifting at full force in a healthy way... physically and mentally. I started week 1 doing workouts that were written "Bodyweight Only Good Mornings 3 sets of 10. Nothing Else." .... now we here. Patience & understanding - key qualities to great coaching as I was also extremely burnt out when I was leaving California and considering retiring. Have some faith if you are feeling down & out, nothing lasts forever if you have determination to not let it. I may not hit any PRs, I won't even look at my placement, but I am confident getting on the platform again on Saturday is going to be a great experience. Can't wait to hit the judges wit dat POWA JERK!! ??
