What blender are you rawkin’ out with? Comment below and share what you like/ don’t like about it. I have a feeling we are all gonna benefit from the comments. . The first year I blended, I rawked out with a little Waring blender that I got as a wedding gift from my coworkers at Wells Fargo (I was a bank teller while in college). . This small + mighty blender did what I needed it to do, but I def had chunks in my "smooth"ies and it took a while to blend. Right around a year, the motor burned out (literally) and I was estatic to finally go shopping for a new one. After lots of research, I eventually picked a refurbished Vitamix and I still recommend it! . Now, five years later, companies send me blenders to test drive and review. It's pretty crazy when I line them all up to do blender reviews. It's been a real eye opening experience and a lot of fun getting to use such a variety of blenders. I wanted to share a few things I’ve learned: . HIGH POWERED BLENDERS: The truth is, you don’t need a high-powered blender to make a green smoothie. but you will get quicker, creamier & better results with a high-powered blender. You will be amazing at how smooth your smoothie is with a blender like @Vitamix, @Blendtec and @kitchenaidusa. You get what you pay for. :) The downside is the price goes waaaaaay up when you enter into this level of blending. (Yet there are usually really good deals on refurbished versions) . STANDARD BLENDERS: Finding an affordable blender that works great and has a long life is possible! The trick is to blend your leafy greens and liquid together first, to help you get a creamy smoothie in the end. @blackanddecker_us , @osterpro, @breville and @thenutribullet have some great low priced blenders. . The best advice I can give when choosing a blender is to find one that lines up with your lifestyle and budget. Figure out how many people you are making smoothies for, how much power you are looking for, and how much money you can spend. Make it work for you! . If you want more details on blenders, check out The Blender Guide where I reviewed a ton of blenders and share best prices + why I like 'em or don't like 'em => [ http://sgs.to/blenders ]
