We had the pleasure of the company in #Soho of legendary photographer @dennismcevoymorris. You can read the whole interview in our blog and it’s a virtual guided tour through 40 years of sub culture. Dennis talks about growing up in Hackney, being a skinhead, being asked to photo #BobMarley, his time with the #SexPistols , #PIL, #Basement5, #TheStoneRoses, #SkinnyGirlDiet and on it goes. Even with that lot and more under his belt and with more projects coming up you have the sense of a guy with his feet firmly on the ground.
As he says: “ A lot of things come to me. You know, what I mean is that you have to go and put yourself in the place to receive it. Like if I had never of skipped school I would never of have met Bob, and you and I wouldn’t be sitting here. There is no such thing as a bad experience; every experience is something to gain in life. As I say to my daughter, before you can walk- there is a lot of falling over. Failure is the thing that is going to make you, once you’ve made it.
