The design of the emblem is inspired by the Chinese character for winter “冬”. It is a mutation from “冬” in an artistic and elegant manner, reflecting the traits of Chinese culture. The upper part of the emblem shows the image of a skater and the lower part a skier.
The Olympic Winter Games in Beijing, China will take place from the 4th to 20th February in 2022.
