Galaxies glow like fireflies in this spectacular image taken by our Hubble Space Telescope (@NASAHubble). This flickering swarm exhibits exceptional properties, including a large and bright radio halo and extraordinarily high temperatures.

This cluster of galaxies is a member of the Abell catalog, an all-sky catalog of over 4,000 galaxy clusters. This one in particular happens to be the hottest cluster recorded in the catalog!

Observing massive clusters like this can help us study dark matter and provide a new perspective on the distant Universe via phenomena such as gravitational lensing.
