I’ve always thought that skateboarding had two categories. 1) commitment and 2) control. In the past, some guys were wild men but really committed and so you’d see them jumping down big gaps, steps and handrails, sometimes resulting in big slams. Then, on the other side of the spectrum, you had guys who were all about control. Their balance, their footwork, their precision was beyond normal skaters. Some guys were petty good at both. This new generation seems to be heading in both the commitment and control categories... but... I don’t think there’s ever going to be someone with the kind of control @daewon1song has. He is about the most technical, most controlled skateboarder to have ever lived. I think he’s done more tricks this week than most people have done in their entire lives. So, it’s only natural that his 2UP video entry is breaking into the top 20 of The Berrics top 50 videos ever made.
