For this week’s installment of #TigersFanFridays, meet Robin, who we’d argue has one of the coolest Christmas trees.
Robin uses orange lights around the tree and after three years of decorating it in a Tigers theme, she finally found herself a Tigers tree skirt. She painted 144 ping pong balls to look like baseballs and used white lights inside them. All of her ornaments are Tigers themed, too.

When she got a new house, Robin knew the first thing she wanted to do was set up a Tigers themed tree. Originally, she started with a four-foot tree, but she grew out of that after her first year.

Robin grew up listening to games on the radio and attending games at Tiger Stadium. That fandom never left her. Her basement is filled with memorabilia and she makes a point to use her Tigers purses. Two years ago, she got the strength to attend TigerFest just two days after surgery. And now, she has hooked her friends on the #Tigers. “I love how a Christmas tree can tell a story of your life and mine does the same,” Robin said. “I have people give me different ornaments. My sister gave me one and my friend Izzy, who was 4 at the time, opened it for me, and my face lit up. She said, ‘Look, Robin, it's just what you wanted.’ I wrote it on the box every year so I remember that.”
