Let’s make sure that the current White House administration holds up its side of this bargain in 2018 by not reopening the import of elephant ivory and other body parts from Zimbabwe or Zambia—as some interest groups are proposing to do. Elephants are awesome and deserve to be respected as whole animals and not as the commercialized sum of their body parts.
