On a mission to give back to the community and find adventure, five professional skimboarders traveled the coastline of Costa Rica in a van to explore as much of the country as possible. From Jaco to the Arenal Volcano, the culture, nature, and locals made all the difference in their trip to give back.
In Guanacaste, the riders held a community skimboard session, inviting everyone in the area. They were able to connect and teach those who shared the same passion of skim boarding. Along with smiles, lessons, and gifts, these athletes gave away a brand new Victoria skimboard to a young local. The very next weekend, the local went on to win an area skim boarding contest, using his new board.
