When we finally made it to the Lofoten, I was totally amazed by the beauty of this place. To drive from one tiny island to the next and to stop every other kilometer really made me feel like I was a little child, again. This place just has an energy to itself that makes it hard to describe. Maybe it’s the harsh contrast between the rugged coastline with its rocky cliffs against these little jewels of islands right next to it. Whatever it is – it is breathtaking.
