Its almost the end of 2017, and time to start another new year.
I have spent 20 years getting to where I am now, and over the time, so many things have changed. It was never easy, and always filled with risk and sacrifice. For that, I’ve been fortunate enough to have met wonderful people and experienced wonderful life moments. I was able to get to where I am because people gave me chances and shared knowledge with me. I want to be able to do the same for others.
I’ve always been at a loss for what to say when people ask how to become professional singers, or start life in a new country. What I’ve done over my years with the help of many people is special, but anyone can do it. The only requirement is to challenge your fears, accept risk and take responsibility for your failures. Learn, grow, and challenge again.
Though I just became a Japanese citizen and my second child was just born this October, next year I’ll take on another new challenge so that I can grow, and help others grow as well.
If there’s any one thing I want to convey, its that I hope dreamers continue to dream. I hope people learn how to shine in their own unique ways. I hope success is never too far out of reach for any of us.

That’s my hope for 2018.
