Sleeping like a baby...

There’s nothing quite as wonderful or peaceful as watching your baby sleep. (Only exception might be nibbling on your baby’s toes!) I wonder what he’s dreaming about? He is so innocent, pure, honest, loving, and positive. We all start out that way.

I’m sad knowing one day he will know that life can be hard, fairytales aren’t real, dreams don’t always come true, and people aren’t all kind. But one thing he will always know is how much I love him. An unconditional love in a world with so many conditions.
.
At least for now I can protect him in our little circle. our own little magical world of family and friends.
.
However, I am optimistic for the future. I believe our children can make a difference. They can be the change we need. As a mom it’s so nice to know the little humans we create have a chance to not just make a difference but be the difference. With all of them maybe one day we can all sleep peacefully like this and maybe fairytales will come true.

Let’s make #2018 the start of a new normal. To babies everywhere... lead us into the future! ??
