Continuing with this year’s summation career, love, health, family…has all been there. 2017 has opened the eye of my heart and I have never felt more conscious or awake to life. The paradox of awakening is that it also brings on challenges that nothing can numb or escape from. There has been a weight to it. When Henry received the call of his big news, we knew our worlds would fast fly in different directions. I felt incredibly happy for him, but extremely conscious of the consequences to us. Only 4 months married then, the next natural step was to settle down and have children. On the contrary, every plan we had was out. Henry's new romantic role meant that he would be “married” to other women on screen. I could think of nothing as more horrendous. Initially, I viewed this public display as a private intrusion and we went through the meat grinder on this. Churning out feelings and growing through this experience made 2017 a challenge for us, but we have spent the last few months of the year side-by-side, becoming closer than ever. I have come to understand that there is a bigger calling than self-concept and it’s time to be great in this new wonderful world together. So, if 2017 was a year of awakening, then 2018 must be to live in that space that it opens into. Come what may, it is time to enjoy the greatness of life and love. Cheers to 2018!
