This is why we ❤️ @mikeytaylor ♻️ . This slam is how the beginning of my 2017 felt... . . My year started off rough. I had surgery on my leg and hip. That put me out 4 months of recovery. DC ended my contract early through a loop hole in the midst of me being hurt which kind of blind sided me. . . As hard as it was, I just kept telling myself, it was for the best. I’m not even sure if I totally believed it, but I just kept repeating it to myself. . . I just stayed positive and began to look at what was next. I took the next couple of months and just really started working on a path to what I wanted to do and who I wanted to become. It was one of the best experiences I’ve gone through. As much self reflective pain was involved, I learned so much from it and it really changed my whole perspective on my life. It really didn’t take long to where I no longer had to tell myself, “this is for the best.” Now I 100% believed it. . . As shitty as the year started, it ended up being one of the best years I’ve ever had. It was the most growth I’ve had as a person and I’m really excited about everything I’m working on for 2018. I’ve got a lot in the works & cant wait to tell you about it as it unrolls this year, but in the meantime... . . Every New Years meme says 2017 was a shocker for everyone, what was yours this year? . . If I can help at all, I just have to tell you... staying positive and looking towards the future and not letting bad experience hold me back, has changed my life.
