Hello Kitty hugging little teddy bears, awwww. #littlemissbento #hellokitty #recipe Butter Cookie recipe *makes 22 Hello Kitty cookies 100g unsalted butter 100g fine sugar 1 egg yolk 1 tsp corn starch 200g cake flour 1. In a bowl, cream soften butter and sugar with hand mixer until fluffy and pale 2. Add in egg yolk and mix well 3. Then sieve in flour and corn starch. Mix until the dough comes together 4. Wrap in cling wrap and rest in the fridge for 1hr 5. Dust tabletop with some excess flour. Roll out the cookie dough to 4mm thickness. 6. Cut into desired shapes. I used arnotts mini teddy cookies and arranged them such that Hello Kitty looked like she is hugging the bears. Arrange cookies on baking tray lined with baking paper. 7. Chill the cookies in the fridge for 15mins. During this time you can preheat the oven to 160C, top & bottom heat with fan on. 8. Bake for 13-15mins until brown. Watch the oven, you don’t want the cookies too dark. During 10min mark, you can lower temp to about 140 if required.
