Maybe it’s because of the new year at hand. I’m not sure why I’m receiving a lot of these today but it is pretty overwhelming to read these. I choked up reading them out loud to my wife just now. When I look back at my life to this point it was never my intention to inspire anyone. If anything I’ve always tried to hide the fact that I was a pretty sad kid. That grew up at the swapmeet and sleeping on the seat of my dads F250. Working hard wasn’t a choice, it was a requirement of my childhood. To the point I never knew any other way( and still don’t)I’m secretly jealous of people that take vacations and relax on the weekends. I really wish I knew how to do that. I remember when I was 16 or 17yo getting 77¢ worth of gas in my VW because that’s all I had in my pocket. I was racking my brain that I needed to invent something or do something to pull me out of the bleak life I lived. That something never came. The solution was right in front of me, my hands. I just worked my way to a better life. Moving furniture, loading trucks, Welding, building cars and bikes and working in my own shop. That’s the miracle. I think people see that I’m not a superhero, I’m just a regular guy that pushed through and still pushes Daily with Hard Work. I’m not sure this makes any sense but I just wanted to say how much I’m moved by the messages you send me. Makes me never want to stop. So thank you. #jessejames
