On 2 January 1874, #Longines was already having to fight off counterfeit products.
Ernest Francillon, company director, published a notice attesting that the watches and movements from his establishment bore the name Longines and a logo, the winged hourglass.
There’s no minimum age for a brand’s having to defend itself.
