"Katharina Grosse: The Horse Trotted Another Couple Of Metres, Then It Stopped" at Carriageworks, Sydney, Australia opens this Saturday, January 6.
In this site-specific installation Grosse will envelop Carriageworks in more than 8,250 square meters of suspended fabric—draped, knotted, and hung across and between the architectural elements of the building—using a palette of raw color to create a vast painting over the layers of folds. Visitors will be able to enter this total environment and experience the transformation of Carriagework’s historic structure.
