Today’s #RachelWhitereadInspired artist is glass blower @brucemarksglass who shares the process of making his recent work, Fragile Identity III, throughout today. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ‘This block of glowing hot glass will be the base of my artwork where I’ll attach the glass spikes onto; I’m flipping it over to try to get it as flat as possible. This orange glass is around 1000°C but will cool clear – hot glass glows orange or red just like iron does when it’s really hot.’ - Bruce Marks ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This week we hand our Instagram feed to four creatives who will be sharing their work inspired by #RachelWhiteread at Tate Britain.
