“It was around 2001, I was a kid with not much direction, however, I had just recently got a job at Foot Locker at my local mall." I always had a love for sneakers and basketball and of course the GOAT Michael Jordan. My family always couldn't always afford to get me nice sneakers, so I took it upon myself, and it seemed to work itself out. It always resonated with me when I was young, that if you dress or rocked kicks like the GOAT, you played like the GOAT. One of my first purchases, and favorite, were the Air Jordan 11 Retro Black/Red. Somehow, with a little persistence, I found an extra pair laying around the stock room in exactly my size. I don't think I'd ever get that lucky to purchase a pair of my favorite Jordans of all time - the Air Jordan 11 model - without having to jump through hoops to get a pair.
