Today I wear black to stand in solidarity with women and men everywhere who have been silenced by discrimination, harassment or abuse. And just to be clear that is every woman. In every industry. In every city. In every country. Since time began. I keep having conversations with good men who are in a state of shock when another abuser is outed. I have yet to speak to a single woman who is surprised that men were using their position of power to abuse women. #metoo doesn't just mean we stand in solidarity it means ME TOO. It means I also have been discriminated against, harassed and abused. We all have as women and have been shown that speaking about it comes with a great risk to our personal and professional lives. So tonight we wear black and lead the march on the death of this system. #whywewearblack #timesup
