Another competition has come and gone. This time I wasn’t expecting too much since I have a partial torn/ strained pulley in my right ring finger. It was so bad that I had to drop off my project when I was in the stand. Then I left Hueco Tanks that same night and headed to Dallas Texas to visit my family and rest. I left my project almost 2 weeks early and I was SO close! ? So, I went to Dallas and worked a lot, ran every day and took over a week off of climbing. I decided to compete after climbing a couple days before the comp with the thought if I feel it then I will just stop. I was not going to go, but this was a VERY last minute decision. It’s definitely tender to touch and is pretty sore so I’m going to take another week or 2 off now. We have Nationals coming up February 2nd and this is the ONLy way we select the USA Team to be able to compete in the world cups. Have to be smart and careful right now!! BUT.... I managed to take first place and I’m definitely psyched for that!!! ??
