What's the latest on NOW? On view now at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam is "Zeng Fanzhi / Van Gogh," a unique exhibition that pairs the legendary paintings of Vincent van Gogh with reinterpretations by contemporary Chinese artist Zeng Fanzhi. For the occasion, the museum produced a video featuring Zeng and Willem van Gogh, the great grand-nephew of the Master. The two explore the various ways in which Vincent van Gogh continues to inspire artists and talk about Zeng's two-phase approach to the exhibition. Additionally, reproduced below, is an interview from the exhibition's catalogue, in which Zeng elaborates on his first encounter with Van Gogh and more.
