Mr King- your message resonates now more than ever! You were and continue to be a national treasure and one of the brightest parts of American history. Your service, bravery and sacrifice- scared some that were close minded to change- but inspired so many more. Some of us didn’t deserve you- but that didn’t stop your unselfish work and movement. You were far ahead of you time, brilliant and exactly what our country needed and CONTINUES to need. And let’s not forget about the amazing wife- Coretta Scott King-you had by your side- who made sure you were properly honored after you were taken from us far too soon. She’s equally incredible. On this day and on EVERYDAY- we remember you, we appreciate you and we salute you Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. Let’s not let his many messages and sacrifices be in vain. Let’s carry on his life’s work every single day America!
