Back to the Acton! I was battling man flu the last few days probably because of the desert to snow transition. But made the most of it! Story time: Five years ago I was travelling across Canada and found out you could drive all the way up to the arctic to see the Aurora. So of course I did! Tried to do rideshare online and magically I got one using Twitter. Two days of driving later I made it to Yellowknife and @aurora_hunter took me under his wing and taught me everything. You should make it your mission in life to see the Aurora because it’s a jaw dropping experience. Half the battle is travelling as far north as you can go, then cross your fingers for a clear night and good solar activity. So thank you again @aurora_hunter for keeping me warm enough not to die (if you find yourself in northern Canada give him a shout, great guy).
