Cheers to preserving vintage, built-in electronics! ? #restoredbythefords | #Repost @leannefordinteriors: I have more thoughts to give on this space! So here’s a tighter shot with the #intercom and #builtin #recordplayer in all their glory! A lot of you #eagleeyes out there noticed that!! The answer is YES! We kept the cutting edge technology from half a century ago. Because YES! It still worked! And to be honest I am pretty sure it’s the reason @brcollins33 bought this house in the first place!! Ya know, I had been playing with a lot of different #lighting options in the space. But the truth was everything I put over this table was taking away from everything ELSE amazing in this room. I didn’t want to block the #kitchen or the #living room area from sight when you walk in. So a very simple 3 dollar #paperlantern did the trick perfectly! Large enough to be #special and #impactful, but #simple enough not to distract from everything else in the #room. Not to mention by that time a little #budgetfriendly solution was good to keep my #brother sane!! #Sidenote of a side note: notice the mixing of different #wood all throughout.
