After only a few years being amongst some of the greatest athletes in the world, it’s really put into perspective how unique our lives are and what we strive to be in this sport. It takes my whole heart to admit that I’ve never had to experience the feeling of losing someone or something so important like this, but 2 years ago I could not even imagine being in the position I am at this moment, but I am highly grateful for the journey so far and all the ups and downs we are and have experienced. As a team and with my amazing partner, we conquered some incredible situations the past two years and we know there will be many more down the road, BUT it’s how we take these situations and how we handle them that will make us so much bigger. It’s our attitude at the beginning of this difficult task, which more than anything else will affect our destination to a successful outcome, and which we will work and strive too. I am more eager than ever and I am looking at this life way differently than before, but hey, who doesn’t want an exciting life? To come that close to making the Olympic team.. it’s pretty exciting, and just makes us want even more..We want to work for our dreams!!
