Is there a shared ground between ethics and aesthetics in photography?
For this year collaboration with @leica_camera_italia we’ve decided to explore those #PhotoVogue projects that, regardless of the genre, question the way in which we represent ourselves and the world around us.?We are looking for photographers driven by what we’d like to call “visual activism” who are able of challenging our gaze and perspective through their work. From February to April 2018, we will select the 5 best photographers out of the over 145,000 users of PhotoVogue for a total of 15 artists. ?Out of the shortlisted candidates, we will identify the 10 most authentic authors whose works will be displayed as part of an exhibition set against the beautiful backdrop of the #LeicaGalerie. ?A new feature of this year’s edition, the exhibition is part of @milanophotoweek taking place from 4th to 10th of June 2018. Moreover, a jury consisting of Andrea Pacella of Leica Camera Italia, @alessiaglaviano AlessiaGlaviano, Senior Photo Editor at Vogue Italia and L’Uomo Vogue, @chiaranonino Chiara Bardelli Nonino, Photo Editor at Vogue Italia and @maranif Francesca Marani, Photo Editor at Vogue.it, will choose the overall best photographer who will receive a Leica TL?See more on Vogue.it
