The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall have spent the day in Cheshire, visiting a range of local organisations.

The day started at HMP Styal, where The Duchess learnt about schemes that help prisoners gain skills and qualification prior to release. Meanwhile The Prince of Wales spent time at @nationaltrust site Quarry Bank, to see how the restoration is progressing.

Their Royal Highnesses were then welcomed to Congleton, which is celebrating 700 years of Mayorality. TRH were able to see the work & meet those involved in community groups; including the local knitting group, Meals on Wheels and the Christmas Day Lunch team.
