Brick & mortar retail is in a moment of crisis. We opened Coclico before online shopping was king, and we feel the shift acutely in our Mott Street store. Call us crazy but we still believe there is power in in-person interaction with a brand, yet we’re acutely aware we need to re-think and evolve our in-store experience to make it feel relevant and important in the age of one-click shopping. We don’t have the answers yet, but we do have lots of questions. Recently we met up with two women addressing the evolution of retail head on for their take on our situation & the state of retail.
