Photo by @Tim Laman. On the day after the supermoon eclipse on Feb 1, I photographed the supermoon setting as the sun rose and lit up the San Jacinto Mountains. On the day after a full moon, the moon is always setting right after sunrise, and still very nearly full, making for some great photo ops. The very clear desert air made the moon appear close enough to touch! 800mm lens plus a bit of cropping.
