I am proud to be a @unicef ambassador for today’s #SaferInternetDay .The internet is a powerful tool to share our ideas and experiences. It gives us the power to create and express ourselves but it has also become a dark place, where a few people feel empowered by hiding behind anonymity to bully and hurt. As a community, we should encourage one another to share love and to respect each other. I often get asked why I don’t post my boyfriend, family and friends on social media. I am aware that I have shared my journey with the internet for over a decade, but I have always tried to keep the things closest to my heart private. My advice to you on this “Safer Internet Day”, is to be smart about the things you share and protect your privacy. #EndViolence
