When I decided to move to the Eastern Sierras I told myself that life was going to change. Not just physically, but in all aspects. I wanted to live a life I loved, full of adventure, happiness and gratitude. I wanted to become a better version of myself. Since moving here, I’ve been steadily making that change. I’ve come to seek the time on the weekends finding new places to explore, driving down new dirt roads, fishing by the river, and watching the sunset. Life has become more simpler here. The convenience is gone; no more post-mates or sushi when I want. But instead, I get the view of the mountains on both the Eastern and western side reminding me that there is so much more out there yet to see. So I can live without the take-out and Target store nearby if I can see this view everyday because sunrises like this one are worth it.
