People tend to assume that because I’m on TV, that I’m outgoing, or comfortable in the spotlight. But the truth is, I’m not naturally. When I was younger I was very shy and expressing myself was never really my strength. Once I started dancing and performing, though, it was like I came alive. I could show my emotions in ways that words couldn’t. Through dance I found my voice, and to this day it allows me to be my truest self. Pain, love, anger, joy - I feel it all when I dance and I’m so thankful that I get to share it with all of you.
