My first Shampoo commercial 6 years ago! Today marks my 6th year as the brand ambassador of Pantene. I’m so grateful for the journey. I still remember the copyrighters asking me “What would you like to say in your first commercial”. I said “The truth”. This was the truth, that I was nervous ( deg deg-an!) to be put in the same category (as a Pantene Girl/Diva) as 2 of Indonesia’s most talented, popular and influential divas of all time.

Anggun @anggun_cipta who at the time was the first female Indonesian recording artist to hit the charts in the US and Europe and Rossa @itsrossa910 whose cassette tape I listened to (religiously) since I was 12 and had a list of accolades to beat!

My thoughts was that, this could be the first and last hair commercial I get to do, and I MUST NOT mess it up! Hence the over acting and the super squints! It was the toughest day, I never knew that a 30 seconds commercial would take 3 days. The nerves did not help. Thankfully the director Vincent Jerome was just the funniest human on the planet.

Fast forward now 2018 still working with Pantene and swooshing hair all over the planet to film commercials with the best commercial directors and photographers in the world. These are the people who have become my friends and a #worldwithoutstrangers was easier done. @phillipesalomon ,@kaizfeng ,@paolakudacki, @sarahmarandi and Vincent Jerome who directed the first and the latest Pantene TVC with me in Bangkok and who I am proud to call my friend! Must NOT forget the AMAZING @gregorykaoua whose magic hands make my hair nothing less than perfect in these commercials all through these years.
I just want to say thank you for the belief in me to everyone I’ve had the pleasure of working with the Pantene family and brand is so much a part of who I am today. Blessed to be given the opportunity 6 years ago and STILL today. Pantene is so much more than a shampoo commercial for me! Can’t wait to welcome yet another new girl to join the #pantenefamily after these 6 years ❤️Get excited! #grateful
