Huge honour to receive the Halberg Disabled Sportsperson of the year award. Unfortunately I couldn't be there to collect in person. Congratulations to the other finalists in this category, what an amazing year you all had. Making a decision last year to come back home and race due to World Champs being postponed, and still perform personal best times breaking WR's definitely topped off what was an unusual year to remember. To my family, friends, Roly, Paralympics NZ, sponsors, managers, support team and fans, thankyou for being by my side through another successful year, couldn't be done without you all.
