Known for its myth and highly accurate fortune telling, Wong Tai Sin Temple of Hong Kong has another side that is also well-known amongst its visitors, and that it is good to go pray for love. Couples come to this temple to pray to Chinese mythological deity of Love and Marriage, Yue Lao. Legends says that Yue Lao went to the Moon with a job as someone who ties red strings to two people, linking them with love and marriage.
You will be able to find the statue of Yue Lao, and a couple connecting by a red string on either side of the deity, along the side of the temple grounds.
