Emerging from an important private collection, #EdRuscha’s ‘Honey’ not only conjures numerous associations – a love note; a conversation half overheard; the taste of something sweet – it also carries a particularly heart-warming backstory. The work on paper was originally purchased by the owner’s father for her mother, whose nickname was Honey.
