The bra in Broadway. Actors hide their microphone packs wherever they can. This one from Shure runs on a new digital frequency as opposed to the often interfere-able radio days of old. As if hearing the sirens and subways thru the exit doors wasn't enough - back in the day a wireless mic pack could accidentally transmit local radio or taxi communication straight into the sound system.

The speaker by the ceiling broadcasts the show as it's happening so everyone knows where we are in the program. Every weekend my tiny speaker had to compete with the Bon Jovi cover band next door. (Photo: @jenrosenstein)
