About ten years ago, I began a journey along with a young blonde boy, too handsome for his own good, from Kansas City. We did a workshop of a new musical by the creators of “South Park” and the creator of “Avenue Q” called “The Book of Mormon.” After That first workshop, I remember he and I looking at each other and saying “this is really insane...and really special.” That was in 2007. Now, a decade later, that blonde boy from Kansas City, @brahsears who started as a Mormon but has now played Cunningham longer than me by three years, is off to new pastures. What an incredible journey it has been. You are more than a friend...you are family. We love you. Congrats on this incredible ride and on whatever comes next. #thebookofmormon will not be the same without you. You’re brilliant, hilarious and frankly an institution. Today we all celebrate the end of your amazing journey.
